DepEd’s National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP) is the country’s main professional development agency that serves the 900,000 public school teachers nationwide. As part of its transformation into a more robust agency, NEAP is planning to build new systems and pathways (called Learning Maps) for diverse teachers to access learning and development programs that are relevant to their respective needs and career stages. Habi designed and facilitated a series of workshops with school heads, superintendents, and supervisors from various regions, to gather insights on how we might design these Learning Maps. Throughout the process, Habi guided participants into prototyping various offline and digital tools, and produced a mobile app concept that public school teachers can access to navigate their professional development journeys.
