Digital Tayo Teachers: Teacher CARE Self-assessment

 

The goal of this self-assessment is for teachers to self-assess across the CARE (Creative, Accessible, Responsible, Enriching) dimensions and to get recommendations on what CARE Teacher course is suitable for their needs.

There is a possibility you might get recommendations to take all 4 courses – in which case we recommend you start with Creative Digital Learning and go through the other courses from there.

Conversely, you may not get any recommendations, which indicates you having a high aptitude for the 4 CARE dimensions. Try out any of the courses as these may give you more insights to help you as a Digital Tayo Teacher! Happy Learning!

6.I can model exemplary skills and lead colleagues in the development and evaluation of teaching and learning resources to be used within and beyond the school.
7.I can lead and support my colleagues in reviewing, modifying and expanding their range of teaching strategies that promote critical and creative thinking.
8.I can expertly apply policies, guidelines and procedures that relate to the implementation of safe and secure learning environments for our learners.
9.I act as a role model and advocate for upholding the dignity of teaching as a profession, to build a positive teaching and learning culture within and beyond the school.
10.I model exemplary practice and empower others to establish and maintain effective learning environments that are responsive to the needs of learners and the community.
11.I actively engage with parents/guardians and the wider school community to maximize their involvement in the educative process.
12.I lead initiatives to support colleagues in applying strategies that effectively provide timely, accurate and constructive feedback to learners to improve learning achievement.
